Cindy Sveistrup

All my life, I have enjoyed working with children. In 1995 I received a certification in early childhood education and spent several years working in a daycare setting. Eventually, I had my own children and decided to stay home to focus on my children and take care of our family business. When it was time for a change, I knew immediately that becoming apart of the Lifestyles Wellness team was the perfect match.

Since starting here, I have learned first hand the benefits of wellness chiropractic not only for myself, but for my children. One of my favorite things about our clinic is the family friendly atmosphere. I love hearing all the practice member’s chiropractic miracles. My experiences here has been incredibly rewarding.

I enjoy being active in my free time. Running, hot yoga and zumba are some of my favorite activities, but nothing beats quality time with my two beautiful children.

I have been getting chiropractic care since I was child and know first hand the many benefits it offers. I saw Dr. Hort throughout my second pregnancy and had a quick and easy birthing experience. I have two beautiful daughters who make me smile every day. Having known Dr. Hort for a long time, I was very excited for the opportunity to join such a wonderful, family friendly practice. I absolutely love being around all the babies and children every day and getting to know the families that come here on a personal basis.

When I am not working, I love spending time with my family, being outdoors, and traveling.

Since my employment began at Lifestyles I have learnt a great deal about the importance and benefits of Chiropractic for all ages! Coming from many years of Hospitality experience, having completed a two year program at SAIT, I have decided to change paths and begin my education in the healthcare industry. Being part of such a wonderful team and surrounding myself in this passionate, uplifting environment, I feel very fortunate.

I grew up in Lethbridge, AB, moved to Calgary when I was 18 years and have been here ever since. I took some time to backpack through Thailand and Indonesia to gain life experience and discover new cultures, as traveling is a luxury in my life. Other activities I enjoy are any type of sports, dancing, yoga, reading and spending with close friends and family.

My goals are to complete my education and continue to share happiness and good health with others through Lifestyles Wellness Group (and hopefully squeeze more travel in!).
