Chiropractic care supports your goal of living a healthy lifestyle in the spirit of prevention and life expression. The chiropractic style used in our Calgary center to optimize your health varies, incorporating low force (no sound), instrument assisted (activator, drop table) and manual techniques to offer the best approach for each individual.

Doctors of Chiropractic are trained as primary contact health care practitioners. After completing an undergraduate degree, Alberta Doctors of Chiropractic will have completed an additional three to four year curriculum of over 4,500 hours of specialized instruction and hands-on training at an accredited Chiropractic College. Finally, in order to earn the privilege to practice they must pass National Board and Clinical Competency Exams.

Chiropractic is firmly grounded in science and endorsed by research. Few other health care disciplines have been assessed as extensively and rigorously as chiropractic. A number of studies confirm that it is one of the safest and most effective methods of health care available, and that patient satisfaction is consistently high.

Research findings have changed the attitudes of many physicians. Increasing numbers of medical doctors and health care providers now recognize the benefits of chiropractic care, and many refer their patients to chiropractors. Dr. Patti Hort and her Calgary based team work collaboratively with a number of healthcare practitioners with the intent to provide patients with the best care possible. The chiropractic style used in our center to optimize your health varies, incorporating low force (no sound), instrument assisted (activator, drop table) and manual techniques to offer the best approach for each individual so that you experience the results you want.
